Artisans for Hope is an organization that helps refugees to learn skills and connect them to the community. They received a pooled fund grant of $18,543 in 2014 to buy commercial sewing machines and equipment needed to develop the marketable textile skills of Refugee women.

IWCF members will host a coffee meeting with the volunteers and the program participants to learn about the impact of the training and the experiences of our new citizens in the Treasure Valley. They do not often  have the opportunity to share their personal stories, so this will be something of a practice session for them.
